Sometimes, a customer has trouble connecting to our servers. Sometimes, this trouble can be reduced or eliminated by connecting to one of our backup servers.
People who use satellite connections must use the backup link in order to connect to BBO.
To try this, you have to download one of the two configuration files below.
Experimental bbover.ini This connects to our backup server
Original bbover.ini This restores your original configuration
Right click either link and select Save Target As... from the pop up menu.
Save the file to c:\bridge base online\bbover.ini
You will be asked if you want to replace the original file on your PC.
After saving the file, restart BBO. If something goes wrong, repeat the process with the Original link. Or contact email@example.com. Or, of course, reinstall the software using the HOME link at the top of this page.
